The breakfast spread is impressive with both western and Chinese options, including tasty homemade bread. Staff members are genuinely kind and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. However, the room I stayed in could have used a bit more soundproofing, and the amenities in the bathroom were somewhat lacking, which detracted from the comfort. Despite these issues, the hospitality received was memorable.

i had an amazing time at this hotel, especially because it’s just a short walk to the bell tower and the drum tower, making it easy for me to explore the local landmarks, and the nearby muslim quarter is perfect for enjoying some delicious street food and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of xi'an.

Comfortable room, convenient location, with the hotel being just a few minutes' walk from the City Wall South Gate and offering a solid breakfast selection, including both local and western options, which made our stay pleasant.

Everything was just perfect.

Finding the hotel was a breeze. After getting off at Zhong Lou metro station, it took just 100 meters of walking to reach the entrance, tucked away in a little lane next to the signboard. Loved the free lemon-infused water and plum drink available at the lobby. The location is ideal, close to the South Gate of Xian City Walls, Bell Tower, and Drum Tower. The vibrancy of Hui Muslim street food is just a stroll away. The room was clean, comfortable, and the soundproofing worked well for my stay. Breakfast had a good variety, featuring both western and local dishes. One downside was the occasional noise from a nearby bar on the weekend. however, I was able to switch to a quieter room without any hassle. The staff provided a lot of helpful information, even assisting with tours to the Terracotta Army. Enjoyed the self-service breakfast, but a few more options for snacks around the hotel would be great for late-night cravings. Overall, I appreciate the experience here, and the value for such a central location in Xi'an is incredible.

My experience was severely marred by the unbearable noise from an external source that kept me awake until the early hours every night. The room I was assigned felt uncomfortably warm, and it was frustrating that I couldn't adjust the heating settings despite requesting assistance from the staff. Additionally, the bathroom had limited space at the wash basin area—those traveling in pairs would find it particularly inconvenient to manage toiletries.

Loved finding local gems nearby like Three Sisters Dumplings for the best jiaozi and the incredible veggie options at De Fa Chang Restaurant! Plus, breakfast was a solid spread with both western and Chinese fare. The hotel's proximity to the Bell Tower also rocked!

The entrance is in a tricky little alley, making taxi drop-offs a hassle, especially if you're lugging heavy bags. I had to wait for an email response from the hotel, but once there, the service was top-notch!

The Holiday Inn Express Xi'An Bell Tower By Ihg has an unbeatable location just steps away from the Bell Tower and a short walk to the Drum Tower. Our Standard King Room was spacious and well-furnished, making our stay comfortable. Breakfast offered a nice selection, and I appreciated the free flow of bottled mineral water.

I really loved how close this place is to the Bell Tower and Drum Tower, making it super easy to explore local sights. Family-friendly option

The beds & pillows were incredibly comfortable! We slept like babies after long days of exploring, and the breakfast had a great variety, with both Western and Chinese styles available — my kids couldn't get enough of the porridge and fried rice cooked fresh in front of us.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but the experience was fair for what we received.
